TESDA Caregiving NC II is the qualification at the centre of everything we teach. Here's what it is, what earning it involves, and what it means once you have it.
A nationally-recognised qualification
Caregiving NC II is issued under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, following official TESDA Training Regulations. It certifies that you have been assessed against a national competency standard — not just that you attended a course. That distinction is why employers in caregiving roles look for it.
What earning it involves
At CleverCare the programme runs about six to seven months: classroom instruction taught by registered nurses, then a month of supervised on-the-job training across four one-week rotations — hospital care, elderly care, disability and special needs, and home management. Your competency assessment is conducted on-site at CleverCare, which is an accredited assessment centre.
What certification does and doesn't cover
It's worth being clear about the boundaries. Certification demonstrates competence in caregiving skills. It is not, on its own, a licence, a visa, a medical clearance, or an offer of employment — those are separate processes handled by separate bodies, and requirements differ depending on where and in what setting you intend to work.

We are a TESDA-accredited training institution. Our role is the training and certification stage: giving you hands-on grounding in caregiving skills and a nationally-recognised credential. We provide training and certification only — we are not a recruitment or placement agency, and we do not arrange employment. What you do with your certification afterwards is yours to decide.
