Our Program
A nationally-recognized qualification, taught with real supervised practice. It's the credential overseas placement agencies and local employers look for.
Program overview
CleverCare's Caregiving NC II program follows the official TESDA Training Regulations for Caregiving, aligned to national competency standards. It combines classroom instruction with supervised, hands-on practicum hours, so graduates leave with real, demonstrable caregiving skills, not just a certificate. TESDA, CleverCare, and OWWA scholarships are available for qualified applicants.

How it works
Pick your nearest branch. Submit your enrollment form online, or book a timeslot to enroll in person.
Attend classroom sessions and hands-on practicum at your branch.
Put what you've learned to work with one month of on-the-job training at partner hospitals and care facilities across Cebu — four partner hospitals, a nursing care home, and a rehabilitation center.
Take your TESDA Caregiving NC II competency assessment on-site. We're an accredited assessment center, so there's no need to travel elsewhere.
Walk at your CleverCare graduation ceremony and receive your certification.
Graduate with your NC II certificate and get our help applying for caregiving jobs overseas.
On-the-Job Training
Your OJT month is four one-week rotations, each at a facility that matches what you're practicing — through our partners, including:
A full hospital rotation — real wards, real patients, real pace.
Hands-on geriatric care at a working nursing care facility.
Supporting clients with disabilities and special needs in a rehabilitation setting.
Household care and home management practice at CleverCare's own training facilities.
Partner facilities and more are assigned per rotation schedule — your branch coordinates your placements when your OJT month approaches.
Before you enroll
A quick checklist of what CleverCare asks for, plus the general eligibility TESDA looks for in Caregiving NC II trainees.
These are also your assessment-ready requirements — TESDA needs them on file before you can take your NC II assessment, so bringing them complete at enrollment keeps you assessment-ready from day one.
Requirements can vary slightly by TESDA-accredited training center — this reflects what CleverCare typically asks for. Contact us if you have questions about your specific documents.
Curriculum
Based on the standard TESDA Caregiving NC II competency units:
Beyond the classroom
Training at CleverCare isn't only lectures and practicum — students also join real community outreach, putting their caregiving skills to work where they're needed most:
Free blood-pressure checks for community members, with students practicing proper technique under supervision.
Free blood-sugar screening drives that give students hands-on experience with real clients.
Visits and care activities with elderly members of the community — the heart of what caregiving is about.
